Commander Gene'p Khamun, a.k.a. Lexicon, was born on a Sho'tahl world near the frontier with the Human Confederacy. His grandfather (on his mother's side) fought in the Human-Sho'tahl War and his grandmother died in the struggle against the Kharyll. Young Gene'p grew up with parents who had shunned the military, but listened intently to the stories his grandfather would tell of the war. He enlisted determined to show the humans once again that the name Khamun meant anything but. This decision still causes friction with his parents. His handle derives from Gene'p's command of Human languages.

A graduate of the Aribata Institute, by the time of the Republic's involvement in the Great War, Lexicon had achieved the CO position of the Seht'tahru Squadron. Through his grandfather and his own contacts in his Pataem (Mhaut'ri), Lexicon is striving to fill his squadron with the best pilots the Republic has to offer. He is currently grooming a female shuttle pilot, Sheriti Qi'prs, to replace him (and take on his handle) when she passes her child bearing years; training her not only in tactics, but teaching her English.

Typical Quote: "Well, what have we here? A custom Shrike with boosted N-field, extended racks, modified gun suite and racing stripes, and here I am in a stock Ym Khtat that hasn't had so much as a washing in months. Note to self: send flowers."

Typical Response: "Oh, so the Sho'tahl thinks he's funny. Come and get some!" Ten seconds later. "Whoa, that guy's good!"
